This stunning long-pile, vintage rug, is handwoven by the Amazigh women in the Souss-Massa region of Morocco. Authentic Askaoun rugs are identified by their irregular hand-knotted textures and typically have tassels only on one end.  Due to the high lanolin content in the hand-spun sheep wool, they are naturally dirt-resistant and very durable.
