This long-pile, vintage runner, is handwoven by the Amazigh women in the Souss-Massa region of Morocco. Authentic Askaoun rugs are identified by their irregular hand-knotted textures and typically have tassels only on one end.  Due to the high lanolin content in the hand-spun sheep wool, they are naturally dirt-resistant and very durable.

The color of this stunning runner is a deep hue of orange and blush......just like a beautiful sunrise!
