This is a vintage, hand-woven, hand-embroidered Tulu Cicim Kilim from the village of Adana in southern Turkey, made in the 1960's. A Cicim Kilim is made from 2 or more panels to achieve the wanted width. In this area many weavers add little patches of mohair wool from the angora goat to the kilim, this is called a Tulu.

This beautiful rug is in excellent condition for its age and perfect for both modern and bohemian settings.
